Longtime friends Anders Selmer of Fiskebaren, Jonathon Soriano of OCD MAD, and The Franks had talked for some time about collaborating. The end result? An event series that brought Brooklyn to Copenhagen, and vice versa.
Over the course of two evenings, one in each city, the respective restaurant teams served up seven signature dishes and threw a killer overseas party to boot.
The Franks focused on rustic classics (think cavatelli with brown butter, sage, and lots of their signature olive oil) while Fiskebaren presented a menu of fantastic seafood-driven fare. At both events, great wine flowed freely.
The afterparties were equally as exciting. In Brooklyn, ticket holders and locals packed the forever-missed Prime Meats (now Franks Wine Bar) with Negronis in hand. In Copenhagen’s Meatpacking District, the event spilled out into the parking lot, with guests drinking and dancing late into the night.
